Menopause clinic - Ramat-Marpe

Menopause Clinic is a nationwide referral center for menopause, mainly affiliated to the second largest HMO in Israel. The Clinic is based on the concept of multidisciplinary approach to menopause, thus there are inter-relations between the clinic and other consultants who are at the same building. There are mainly the following facilities at the Ramat-Marpe complex: a bone density unit, a mammography unit, breast surgeons, uro-gynecologist, dietician. We operates since 1987, and there are some 5000 women registered, about half are seen on a regular basis, namely once in 1-2 years. During the last 10 years most of my research was done at the clinic, mainly on the effects of menopause, and the effects of HRT on cardiac function.
