Many of the diseases women and men develop are related to a low level of physical activity. This, you can increase the likelihood to stay healthy if you commit yourself to some form of regular physical exercise.
There is no single best exercise. It is important that you choose something you like.
Jogging, brisk walking, dancing and tennis are just a few examples of exercises that help your heart, bone and muscles.
You may find that your sleep is better, your mood is improved, your body shape may slowly change for the better.
Aerobic exercises for some 30 minutes a day is a good prevention program to protect your heart. Weight bearing exercises may help your bones and muscle stay fit.
Flexibility exercises such as stretching, yoga and tai chi may improve your balance and may be beneficial at old age as they help you decrease your risk of falling and subsequent fracture.
